Kristian’s main body of work consists of blown glass forms that have been engraved and roughly sketched upon with ceramic underglaze pencils. Her vessels function as environments for abstract drawings to interact within. Each piece is the result of a series of decisions between the artist and the object that result in a three-dimensional painting.
